Travis Clark grew up here in Vermont, in a home with with an artist and an engineer. He was an avid rock collector as a child, and his passion for rocks eventually developed into a love of the art and aesthetic of jewelry. He apprenticed under both a goldsmith and a platinum smith, and graduated from the North Bennet Street School in Boston. After years of creating jewelry for larger businesses, Travis decided to begin his own company, and did so in 2007. He now runs a studio in Essex, VT, and has hired an assistant as well. His work can be seen in local and New England craft fairs and art shows, and has been featured in local galleries. Most recently he has started an Etsy page, to be able to share his art outside of New England.
Travis was diagnosed with Aspberger's Syndrome, a form of Autism, at the age of 27. Today, Travis lives with his girlfriend and her children in Enosburg, VT. He is proud to be an artist and a business owner, and hopes that he can help to spread Autism awareness to those who are less familiar with it and its many different forms.
